The Project
The home, set in the beautiful Riverbend area of Saint Lucie wore a dull and dreary look. Although the surroundings looked calm and green with beautiful shrubs dotting the landscape, the faded paint wasn’t helping at all. In fact, the paint was badly faded it wasn’t complementing the beautiful landscape at all. To make things worse, it had developed multiple cracks in the stucco. It seemed like this Riverbend Port Saint Lucie exterior repainting project was going to take a lot of work. Well, without further ado, we started what we do the best!
The Plans & Preparations
Making the right plans and preparations holds the key to a good paint job and at Jaworksi Painting, we never compromise on it. We carried out a detailed inspection of the paint area and started making the necessary preparations. Our inspection revealed it needed some cedar-facial board replacement. Besides, it also required a few other preparations to make it paint-ready. When all the necessary preparations were done, we started breathing new life into the Saint Lucie home with our high-quality paints.
Selection of the right colors
Selecting the right colors amplify the beauty of the paint-job while enhancing the aesthetic appeal. In this case, our Riverbend Port clients – Tony and Fran chose to go with whites, grays, and blues. Their choice of colors was perfect as it would help the home stand out from the lush green background and bring out the small details. As an experienced painting company, we understand how important the color selection is. So, if you aren’t sure about what colors would be a perfect fit for your home, we will offer detailed consultation to make things easier for you.
The Pre-Painting Process
Amateur painters often go straight to the painting but doing so will have disastrous results. At Jaworski Painting, we understand that a diligent prep work is important to achieve a professional finish. So, for our Riverbend Port project in Saint Lucie, we started with the prep work. So, we started pressure cleaning the entire home along with the pool area and driveway. Pressure cleaning removes the dirt and the loosely held old paint. We proceeded further by grabbing a few tubes of caulk. We thoroughly checked the walls and surfaces for cracks and sealed them using caulk. We also did this to joint areas where a door or a window meets the wall. The next step for us was to apply primer to get the most out of the paint job. Paint doesn’t stick well to dusty or uneven surface. So, it’s important to prime them before painting.
Coatings for Protection
With the prep work almost done, we went ahead with our process to provide the walls of our Saint Lucie client’s home with ultimate protection. To protect the walls against the elements and water intrusion, we applied two coats of elastomeric stucco and masonry coatings.
The Painting
Finally, our experienced painters started painting the walls with high-quality paints. We painted the home in shades of white, gray and blue. With the finishing touches from our expert painters, we transformed this home in Port Saint Lucie from dull to stylish. It was as if the home sprang back to life with our paint job. If you take a look at the “after painting“ pictures, you will agree that this home in the beautiful Riverbend area of Saint Lucie resembles a newly constructed home.
